I can’t believe we’ve just finished the month of January and that today is already February 1st! This means Valentine’s day is right around the corner and I wanted to share some Valentine’s day inspiration with you that I’ve come across. It’s a combination of gifts, recipes & images that inspire as well as some adorable elements for entertaining. The pretty pinks and symbols of love are always wonderful to see this time of year and whether you have a Valentine or not, you have loves in your life, so why not spoil them?

1. Can you imagine this bouquet of heart balloons being delivered to you for Valentine’s day? It’s actually possible!
2. I came across this Zig Zag Tray at Holiday Boutique in Boston and fell in love with it. I am considering it for the bureau in my bedroom and also thought it make a great Valentine’s day gift given the color palette.
3. Love this hot chocolate with pink peppermint hearts recipe, and it’s easy!!
4. Heart macaroon cake {enough said!}. Wait until you see what the flavors are. I also found beautiful heart shaped macaroons at the amazing Dominique Ansel bakery in New York to help save a step. They come in a gift box so they would make a lovely gift on their own as well.
5. This stunning one of a kind White Quartz Necklace, by Margaret Elizabeth, would be a great statement necklace anytime of year with an all black look for work or jeans and a t-shirt with it’s abstract heart shaped quartz.
6. These Cinnamon Dulce Heart Cookies are the perfect hostess Valentine’s day gift.
7. One of the many fabulous cards from Sugar Paper, Los Angeles, they always have the best detailing in their envelope linings.
8. If you plan to decorate this heartfelt garland as well as #13 below would be a great addition to your mantel.

10. You too could make this cake with Signe Sugar’s gum paste hearts. Love the subtle color palette with pops of gold. I also came across this adorable cake stand that would be perfect for any Valentine’s day cake.
11. I will make something for the loves in my life this Valentine’s day, and if I end up making cupcakes, I will use these adorable scalloped cupcake holders {I will keep you posted on this!!}.
